While it is still possible to use the CKsolo pool and other alternatives, it is important to emphasize that most pools are not optimally set up for low hashrate hardware.

All off-the-shelf hardware comes with the latest firmware update, but if you have previously purchased a NerdMiner, you can easily upgrade to Firmware v1.6.3 by following these steps:

Connect your LillyGo TTGO T-Display S3 device to your computer via USB-C. Note that the USB C cable must be able to transfer both data and power.
Go to https://bitmaker-hub.github.io/diyflasher/
For the best experience, use Google Chrome (Firefox is not supported).
From the drop-down menu, select "Nerdminerv2 1.6.3 for Lillygo T-display S3."
Click flash, a window will appear asking you to select a device to connect - select your device and click connect. If your device is not listed, try another cable.

After updating your NerdMiner to firmware update v1.6.3, log in via Wi-Fi as you did during initial configuration (see blog: Nerminer setup) and make sure your mineral has the following pool settings:

You can now go to https://web.public-pool.io/ go and enter your BTC address (which you set up during configuration) to view your mining statistics.
