What is Bitcoin Begreifen about?

Rosenbaum explains the technical foundations of Bitcoin: what the design choices are based on, what they are for and how they were implemented. He starts with a simple system of vouchers kept in a ledger and extends it step by step with the properties a complete, uncensorable monetary system needs. By the end, that system has grown into Bitcoin.

Each step covers the problem, the possible solutions, the chosen solution with the reasoning behind it, and the implementation. The book contains more than 480 illustrations.
