Check out that Bitcoin blockchain live here!

The mempool, derived from "memory pool," is actually a central part of how transactions are processed in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. It is like a temporary queue in which transactions accumulate before being added to a block by miners and eventually added to the blockchain.

Each time someone initiates a cryptocurrency transaction, it is added to the mempool of the node with which the transaction was made. Now comes the interesting part: miners select transactions from the mempool and add them to new blocks added to the blockchain. They do this by solving complex mathematical puzzles, and as a reward for their work they receive newly created cryptocurrency (in the case of Bitcoin) and transaction fees.

Because different nodes have their own mempools, there may be variations in which transactions are processed next. Some transactions may be confirmed faster, while others may take a bit longer, depending on factors such as transaction costs and network congestion.

It is an interesting game of supply and demand, where users can pay higher transaction fees to prioritize their transactions in the mempool and thus be processed faster. This can be especially important during periods of heavy traffic in the network.

In short, the mempool is a type of waiting room for transactions waiting to be added to the blockchain. It affects how quickly and efficiently transactions are processed and added to the blockchain. For more info, see FAQ.

On Oct. 31, 2008, it all began. Satoshi Nakamoto published his whitepaper just months before he launched the Bitcoin network itself on Jan. 3, 2009. The Bitcoin white paper, even after 14 years, remains one of the most prominent and coherent sources for studying Bitcoin.

How Much Satoshi Will You Get For A Euro Or Dollar?

How much sat do you get for a euro?

Since September last year, I have become the proud father of Reza. He doesn't know it yet, but will start getting his pocket money in Satoshi's. Just to teach him how Bitcoin works, but also how he can see what happens to his "pocket money." This tool is very accessible to use and I have used it regularly over the past few years. On May 22, 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz made an unusual choice: he ordered 2 pizzas and paid a whopping 10,000 Bitcoins for them. Comparing that to today, you would pay only about 0.00072 Bitcoin for that same 2 pizzas. It may not sound very appetizing when we look at it that way. Rather, we speak in terms of 72,100 Satoshis. Sa-what! A Satoshi is the smallest unit of Bitcoin, equal to 0.00000001 BTC. We find it crucial to talk about Satoshis rather than whole Bitcoins because many people do not know that Bitcoin is divisible. However, converting the value of 1 euro to Satoshis is quite complicated. That's why this website was developed. With the help of this website, you can quickly and easily convert the value of a certain amount of euros to Satoshis. In this way, we hope to contribute to a greater awareness of the versatility of Bitcoin and the importance of Satoshis as the smallest unit of this revolutionary digital currency.

The "laser eyes" meme became popular within the Bitcoin community around February 2021. It was used as a sign of support for Bitcoin's price to reach the goal of $100,000. People, including prominent figures and supporters of bitcoin, began editing their profile photos on social media to add "laser eyes" as part of a campaign known as "#LaserRayUntil100K."

My preference is to buy Bitcoin from Relai. Read more about it in this blog.

Hashrate: Understand the Conversion Factors

Hashrate represents the computing power of a Bitcoin network or miner. It is essential to understand how to convert between different units of hashrate to accurately estimate the scale and mining capacity of the network. Here is a simplified guide:

Basic Conversion: Converting from a smaller unit to a larger unit requires division, while converting from a larger unit to a smaller unit requires multiplication.

Conversion factors:
- 1 kH/s (Kilohash) is 1,000 H/s (Hashes).
- 1 MH/s (Megahash) is 1,000,000 H/s.
- 1 GH/s (Gigahash) is 1,000,000,000 H/s.
- 1 TH/s (Terahash) is 1,000,000,000,000 H/s.
- 1 PH/s (Petahash) is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 H/s.
- 1 EH/s (Exahash) is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 H/s.

Manual Conversion: To convert manually, multiply or divide based on the direction of conversion. For example, to convert 5 TH/s to GH/s, multiply 5 by 1,000 to get 5,000 GH/s.

Online Tools: Use online tools like the hashrate calculator for fast and accurate conversions without manual calculations.

With this guide, you can easily and accurately convert hashrates and better understand the computational power of a network or miner.
