Das Buch Satoshis by Phil Champagne collects the central writings of Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin. This is the German softcover. If you want to read it digitally, there is the ebook. If you would rather read English, there is The Book of Satoshi.
What is Das Buch Satoshis about?
The book brings together the writings in which Bitcoin took shape. You get Satoshi's emails and forum posts in chronological order, an explanation of the basics of Bitcoin that a layperson can follow, a look at the economic consequences Bitcoin may have, and the whitepaper that started it all.
Satoshi was publicly active under that name for about two years. That ended around the time PC World wrote about a possible link between Bitcoin and WikiLeaks. Whether there was such a link, you judge for yourself. According to the book, who Satoshi really is will probably never be known.
