02 · from the workshop

Bitcoin Focus Magazine is the Dutch bitcoin-only print magazine, created by and for the bitcoin community in the Netherlands and Belgium. On this page, you can choose what you want: the new Issue 03 on pre-order, the complete set of all three issues, or the bundle with Issues 02 and 03 if you already have the first one.

Three options, one magazine

Issue 03 (pre-order), 19 euros

The latest issue, compiled with the readers themselves. While the previous two issues were written primarily by the editorial staff, newsletter readers now contributed their stories, experiences, and insights. The result is the most accessible issue to date, with usage, adoption, and education as the common thread.

Complete set: 3 issues, 39 euro

All three issues in one order, about 13 euros per magazine. Issue 01 about the early pioneers, issue 02 about entrepreneurship and regulation, issue 03 about education and adoption. A limited number of copies of the first issue are still left.

Bundle: issues 02 and 03, 29 euro

For those who already have the very first issue of Bitcoin Focus on their shelves. Two full-size print magazines, totaling about 200 pages, for 14.50 euros per issue.

What is in issue 03

Portraits from the Netherlands: farmers, entrepreneurs and the stories behind their choices
Bitcoin teachers in the classroom, and educating a generation that didn't grow up with the internet
Bitcoin as a Panacea: A Critical Essay That Doesn't Go Along with the Audience
A Removable Decision Tree: Who Actually Decides on Your bitcoin?
Why Selling bitcoin Is Sometimes a Wiser Choice Than Holding Onto It
The first steps of new users, along with the associated doubts
Personal stories from people who see the world differently thanks to bitcoin

The main theme is explaining without simplifying. New analogies, fresh comparisons, and practical stories instead of a lecture on hash functions.

What the previous issues bring

Issue 01 chronicles who was building here back when bitcoin was still primarily the domain of pioneers and hobbyists. Issue 02 covers the next phase: entrepreneurs who turned it into their livelihood, and the obstacles they encountered. Read in sequence, these issues trace the timeline of bitcoin in the Low Countries, from building to passing the torch.

Who is Bitcoin Focus Magazine intended for?

Just starting out? Then issue 03 is a pleasant first introduction. You don't need to understand anything about the protocol to be able to follow the stories.

Have you been around for years? Then the new perspectives in the interviews and the critical essay are for you, and the complete set gives you the context of how fast things have moved here.

Looking for a gift? A magazine is one of the few bitcoin gifts you can give without having to spend an hour explaining it. You might also want to check out our bitcoin gifts and bitcoin books, such as The Book of Genesis or The Little Bitcoin Book.

Bitcoin only, without noise

Bitcoin Focus is exclusively bitcoin-only. No altcoins, no ads for trading platforms, no price predictions, and no investment talk. It’s about people, companies, and initiatives, not last week’s chart. That’s why an issue of this magazine stays relevant much longer than a newsletter.

Publisher is Bitcoin Focus. BitcoinStuffStore sells the magazine in partnership with the publisher.

The removable decision tree on custody

One of the most striking features of Issue 03 is the detachable decision tree that asks who actually decides on your bitcoin. You follow the branches and end up at your own situation: is it listed on a trading platform, on a hardware wallet, or in a multi-key setup. Handy to go through yourself, and even handier to show to someone else.

Pre-order and delivery

Issue 03 is heading to the printer soon. With a pre-order, you help estimate the print run better and keep printing costs low. All three options include issue 03, so every order will be shipped as soon as that issue is printed, expected in the autumn or early winter of 2026. A set or bundle will be shipped completely all at once.

Shipping is handled directly by the publisher.

Giving away multiple copies

Would you like five or more copies to give away, for example for a meetup, a customer promotion, or your own circle of acquaintances? Please contact us, and we will look at bulk pricing together.
