Cryptosteel Seed12 Security Seals

02 · from the workshop

Have you opened your steel backup? Then you will want to be able to close it again. These seals belong to the Cryptosteel Seed12. You use them to seal the capsule and afterwards you can see at a glance whether it has remained unopened.

Why you want to keep a few in stock

A tamper-evident seal is for single use only. If you open your capsule to check something or to adjust a word, that seal is broken. Without a spare, your backup will either remain open afterwards, or be closed without proof that no one has accessed it.

A set in the drawer costs almost nothing and saves you from waiting for an order at the exact moment you need your backup. That is the entire reason this product exists.
